We've discovered another favorite food: mashed up carrots! Addy tried them today, and boy, she put them away like nobody's business. Apparently she only likes orange colored foods.
Also, I guess we can modify what I wrote yesterday - it looks like Adelyn may decide to start crawling sometime soon! She was pushing up with her arms today and curving her back as if to tuck her knees under. Who knows, it could be just around the corner!
Oh, and we're watching "Planet Earth Extremes: Summit to Abyss" on Discovery HD, and can I just say WOAH. It is amazing. How did we ever live without HD before?? Haha. But seriously, the "Planet Earth" series is breathtaking.

Adelyn's Milestones
3.7.09 (9 mos) - Addy started scoot-crawling on her tummy!!!
2.25.10 (9 mos) - Cutting her second tooth! Bottom left.
2.12.10 (8 mos, 3 wk) - Addy's first substantial snow! She liked to touch the cold fluff, and even sampled a little of the (fresh and clean) snow.
2.3.10 (8 mos, 1 wk) - Her first tooth is starting to cut it through! Bottom, right tooth. Just barely showing.
1.24.10 (7 mos, 3 wks) - FINALLY sleeping through the night!!
1.20.10 (7 mos, 3 wks) - Trying to pull up. She's very good at standing!

10.31.09 (5 mos, 6 dys) - Happy Halloween! Adelyn is a cute little ladybug.
10.8.09 (4 mos, 1wk) - She rolled over from back to front!!!
10.5.09 (4 mos, 1 wk) - Adelyn moves her feet like she is tap dancing

9.21.09 (4 mos) - First time trying solids (baby cereal). She didn't like it.
9.21.09 (4 mos) - 4 month check up. 12 lbs 4 oz (25th percentile), 24 inches long (45th percentile). 2nd round of vaccines. :(
9.15.09 (3 mos, 4 wks) - Adelyn got up on her knees (but not her arms)
9.10.09 (3 mos, 3 wks) - We can officially say she has rolled over from front-to-back! Now to work on back-to-front.

7.12.09 (6 wks, 6 dys) - Starting to hold on tightly to things placed in her hands (besides just fingers)
7.8.09 (6 wks, 2 dys) - Getting very good at holding her head up
7.4.09 (5 wks, 5 dys) Happy Independence Day! Baby's first trip to a pool. Dangled her feet in the water.
6.29.09 (5 wks) - Baby's first coos, and very first smile after recognizing Momma!!!
6.22.09 (4 wks) - Dr.'s appt. 8 lbs 1 oz (50th percentile), 21 inches long (50th percentile)
6.19.09 (3 wks, 4 dys) - First roadtrip, heading off to Austin.
6.16.09 (3 wks, 1 dy) - First official bath in the bathtub. She liked it!
6.12.09 (2 wks, 4 dys) - Sucked her thumb :)
6.8.09 (2 wks) - 1st doctor's appt. 7 lbs 10 ozs, 20 3/4 ins long
6.2.09 (1 wk) - Bye bye umbilical cord
5.28.09 (3 days) - Arrived home
5.26.09 - First smile. The day after she was born, amazing.
5.25.09 - Adelyn arrives! 6 lbs 6 ozs, 19.5 ins long
Pregnancy Milestones
9.19.08. Found out we're pregnant!
11.12.08 (week 12). First Ultrasound Appointment. We have a wiggly baby :)
11.27.08 (week 14). Told our families the BIG NEWS over Thanksgiving!!!!
11.29.08 (week 14). Bought maternity pants. Much comfier.
12.1.08 (week 15). Heard Baby's hearbeat for the first time. What a wonderful sound!
12.11.08 (week 16). Felt Baby kick for the first time. Sensation was similar to pop-corn popping.
12.15.08 (week 17). First pregnant plane ride to San Francisco, CA. Belly starting to show.
12.20.08 (week 18). 2nd Ultrasound. Baby laying low in belly, so difficult to get measurements. Good heartrate at 160 BPM.
12.25.08 (week 18). Merry Christmas! Received our first baby gifts.
12.26.08 (week 18). First time to see Zivney-side since announcing our pregnancy. Definitely starting to show and Baby is kicking up a storm.
1.1.09 (week 19). Happy New Year! Decided to make a baby blog (and keep it updated!) as a New Year Resolution.
1.21.09 (week 22). 3rd ultrasound appointment today! Heartrate 167 BPM. Got to see baby's face :)

1.26.09 (week 23). Derek saw my belly move when the baby gave a big kick, and was then kicked in the ear when his head was on my belly. Too funny.
2.13.09 (week 25). Uh oh, starting to swell...
2.22.09 (week 27). First time we felt Baby hiccup!
3.6.09 (week 28). Braxton Hicks contractions are starting.
3.24.09 (week 31). I am now perfecting the pregnant waddle, and I cannot see my feet.
4.16.09 (week 34). 60% effaced, just starting to dilate!
4.23.09 (week 35). 80% effaced, dilated a fingertip.
5.3.09 (week 37). We've made it to full term!
5.18.09 (week 39). Had growth ultrasound and NST done. Baby looks great, weight estimated to be ~6lbs 13 oz.
5.24.09 (week 40). Contractions have started!
5.25.90 (week 40). Adelyn Lindsay is born!!
